Full description of the position

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Catering Sales Specialist with strong communication skills and proven sales ability to drive growth in CBK Catering & Events' off-premise catering and events division. The Role and Expectations: * Grow and develop catering business from the ground up, and cultivate long-term client relationships. * Work with The Director of Sales to create and execute promotional activities and attend networking events to foster new business. * Efficiently close corporate and social event sales from inbound leads The Director of Sales assigns to you. * Serve as the main point of contact for new and existing clients, and proficiently create, modify and share proposals, contracts, event worksheets/ banquet event orders (BEOs) with clients and CBK's production team. * Proficiently utilize and regularly update your leads and deals in the company's catering CRM. * Participate in sales team meetings and production meetings. * Organize and lead venue/ event site walk throughs with clients and organize the information gathered for the production team as needed and directed by The Director of Sales. * Demonstrate excellent communication skills as you will be in regular contact with clients by phone and through email. * Must be computer proficient, and able to efficiently learn new computer programs. Existing knowledge of and experience working in Total Party Planner (TPP) is a plus, but not required. * Complete special projects as directed by the Director of Sales. * It is expected that the Event Specialist will close sales totaling at least $1,000,000+ annually. This is a full time position structured with a base salary plus uncapped tiered-commission. Benefits include paid time off and a highly matched 401(k) once eligible.
