Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager specializing in manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, fostering business development opportunities, and driving sales growth within the manufacturing sector. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and technical sales skills to build long-term relationships with clients and expand our market presence. The Account Manager will leverage their expertise in sales and marketing to meet client needs and achieve company objectives. This will be an Administrative/Inside Sales/Customer Service role. Strong preference for candidates with Metal experience. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing clients, serving as their primary point of contact * Identify new business opportunities through warm calling, networking, and industry research * Conduct needs analysis to recommend tailored solutions that align with client requirements * Lead negotiations to secure contracts and ensure mutually beneficial agreements * Drive business development initiatives to expand our presence in the manufacturing sector * Collaborate with internal teams on marketing strategies and technical sales presentations * Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track client interactions, sales pipeline, and account activities * Provide ongoing account management support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention * Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify areas for growth or improvement * Prepare reports on sales performance, account status, and strategic planning Qualifications * Proven experience in marketing, inside sales, technical sales, or account management within the manufacturing industry * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively * Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technology sales, and related solutions is highly desirable * Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--with the ability to present complex information clearly * Business development expertise with a proactive approach to warm calling and outreach strategies * Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing client relationships and sales activities * Analytical skills to assess market data and customer needs for strategic planning * Leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to grow their career in manufacturing account management while contributing significantly to our company's success.
