The Sales Representative is responsible for generating, inspecting, and closing jobs for residential and light commercial customers. The scope of sales includes roofing, construction, painting, and window sales. This role focuses on identifying roof issues, educating homeowners on solutions, and converting leads into signed agreements while maintaining strong customer relationships and clear internal communication. This position is field-based and requires professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Sales & Lead Handling * Create and follow up on leads for opportunities * Optional individual online marketing / leaad generation * Conduct door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood outreach when required * Build trust with homeowners and property managers * Clearly explain repair solutions, service options, and company processes * Present company-provided pricing and close repair jobs * Secure signed agreements and required deposits per company policy Roof Inspections & Issue Identification * Perform roof inspections to identify: * Leaks and water intrusion * Missing or damaged shingles * Flashing, pipe boot, and vent issues * Wind and storm-related damage * Take clear photos and document visible issues * Accurately communicate findings to office and production teams * Follow company safety standards when accessing roofs Customer Communication * Maintain professional communication from inspection through completion * Answer customer questions regarding repair process, materials, and timelines * Set clear and realistic expectations * Follow up with customers as needed * Represent the company professionally at all times Production Coordination * Communicate job details clearly with office staff and repair crews * Confirm access, scope understanding, and scheduling readiness * Assist with final walkthroughs or post-repair communication if requested * Report any jobsite or customer concerns promptly Insurance & Storm Work (If Applicable) * Identify potential insurance-related repair opportunities * Assist homeowners with basic claim-related information * Document storm damage clearly for internal use Skills & Traits (No Experience Required) * Strong communication and people skills * Professional appearance and attitude * Self-motivated and dependable * Comfortable working outdoors and on roofs * Coachable and willing to learn roofing systems * Organized and able to manage daily tasks independently Performance Expectations * Timely lead follow-up * Accurate inspections and documentation * High close rate on repair opportunities * Clean paperwork and communication * Positive customer feedback * Adherence to company processes and safety standards Physical Requirements * Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs safely * Work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally * Stand, walk, and climb for extended periods Training pay offered Advancement opportuntiies avaliable 10% base commission on any jobs sold 25% commission on upgraded roofing products sold Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Charleston, SC 29418
