The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and building teams, with operational expertise in the fencing or construction-related industries. This role is crucial in overseeing our sales teams and subcontractors who install fences, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage daily operations of the company, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently. * Oversee and support sales teams, ensuring targets are met and exceeded. * Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality installation of fencing projects. * Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and achieve company goals. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers. * Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. * Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and local codes. * Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and alignment with our core values. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a General Manager or similar roles in the fencing, construction, or related industries. * Strong leadership and team-building skills. * Excellent operational management skills with a focus on efficiency and quality. * Ability to oversee sales teams and drive performance. * Experience managing subcontractors and ensuring project completion. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to make strategic decisions and problem-solve effectively. * Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management. * Familiarity with health and safety regulations and local codes. Preferred Qualifications: * Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field. * Experience in the fencing industry is helpful. BC-S Specialty Contractor license is a plus * Computer savvy.
