Job Description Bricks & Minifigs South Austin is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bulk Sorter who can also serve as an occasional Sales Associate when needed. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys quiet, focused work but can also jump onto the sales floor and engage customers with energy and friendliness. You'll spend most of your time sorting and organizing bulk LEGO pieces--an essential part of keeping our store running smoothly. On some days, you'll step onto the sales floor to support the team, assist families and collectors, and help create a welcoming environment. If You Are * 18 years old or older * Able to reliably commute and consistently arrive on time * Available weekday mornings/early afternoons at least 3 days a week (required) * Detail-focused and consistent in your work habits * Able to work independently with minimal supervision * Trustworthy and responsible with store systems and materials * Friendly, outgoing, and confident when talking to customers (when on sales floor) * Comfortable learning LEGO categories, colors, and part types * Physically able to lift 20-30 lbs and handle repetitive hand movements this might be the right fit. ResponsibilitiesBulk Sorting (Primary Duty - Weekdays Only) * Sort bulk LEGO pieces by type, color, and category * Follow store sorting systems consistently * Maintain a clean, organized workstation * Assist with set deconstruction and part preparation * Work independently (headphones allowed) * Keep bulk processing flowing efficiently for the retail team Sales Associate Support (Occasional Weekends / As Needed) * Greet and actively engage customers of all ages * Help families and collectors find products * Provide accurate info about sets, minifigs, bulk, and store policies * Support stocking, cleaning, and merchandising Qualifications * Basic LEGO knowledge required; additional training provided * Customer service experience preferred * Strong independent work ethic * Ability to stay focused and productive without supervision * Punctual and dependable--reliability is essential * Comfortable standing during retail shifts * Must be detail oriented * Must be able to work occasional weekend shifts when needed We Offer * Employee discount * Flexible-but-consistent schedule * Fun, team-driven environment * Headphones allowed during sorting * Opportunities to learn retail skills and contribute to a growing store Schedule Requirements Bulk Sorting Shifts: * 3-4 days per week * Weekday mornings/early afternoons * 5-6 hours per day Sales Relief Shifts: * Occasional weekends as needed Bricks & Minifigs is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
