Full description of the position

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving outside sales growth through effective territory management, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to business development and the ability to analyze market trends to identify new opportunities. Service catalog includes: * Managed IT and Security Services * IT and Cybersecurity Consulting * Recruiting and Staffing * Cloud Phone Service * Managed Print Services * IT Hardware and Software Target Market: * Small and Medium Businesses ($1M - $1B Revenue / 20 - 1k FTEs) * Central Iowa and business that are 100% remote in Central time zone Duties * Manage assigned territory to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. * Engage in direct sales efforts, presenting products and services effectively to potential clients * Follow-up on leads and mange prospects through the sales process * Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement * Collaborate with the leadership to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns * Participate in technology sales initiatives, describing services and benefits to clients * Support sales efforts by providing insights on customer preferences and competitive landscape * Maintain CRM records for communication and pipeline development * Qualify leads * Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts * Achieve quarterly activity goals * Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets Requirements * A positive attitude and professional demeaner * At least seven years of combined sales experience * Experience in outside B2B sales * Experience selling technology and consulting services * Experience selling to C-suite executives in small and medium businesses (20 - 1k FTEs, $5M - $1B rev.) * Proven experience in territory sales, direct sales, or business development roles * Ability to analyze data effectively to drive decision-making processes * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly * Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment * Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team * Live in or near the Des Moines, IA metropolitan area * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation * A reliable home internet connection * A personal smartphone for business use * Able to pass a criminal background check * Be in good financial standing with no pending or recent bankruptcies * No active non-compete or non-solicit for target market/services Position Details * Base salary is $50k/yr plus commissions with tiered rates and bonuses * Work from home with occasional local travel * Set your hours based on business needs * Pre-sales engineering assistance * Closing assistance from Principal Consultant * Strong branding and marketing materials * Targeted advertising campaigns to support sales strategy * No high-pressure sales environment This is a full-time position based out of Urbandale, IA. Paid time off with holidays. This position does not have health insurance or retirement benefits.
