Overview
Kinder Scientific (KS) is seeking a driven and outcome-oriented Sales Representative responsible for driving new customer acquisition while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. This role plays a critical part in revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement, working closely with leadership, engineering, and operations to deliver solutions that meet customer and market needs.
Responsibilities
New Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and close new sales opportunities, with a primary focus on new account acquisition.
- Proactively identify, develop, and penetrate new markets, applications, and customer segments.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract close.
- Build and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools. Account Management & Customer Relationships:
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating internal resources as needed.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer needs. Measures of Success:
- Development of a healthy, qualified sales pipeline within first 90-120 days.
- Consistent progress toward revenue targets and new account acquisition.
- Strong customer relationships leading to repeat engagement.
- Sales performed to different market segments, and within different geographic locations. Sales Execution & Representation:
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and on-site customer meetings.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align messaging, proposals, and customer solutions.
- Represent Kinder Scientific at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
- Travel up to 50% as required to support sales and customer engagement activities. Management & Collaboration:
- Work closely with leadership to support sales strategies, pricing approaches, and market positioning.
- Provide feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing initiatives, and customer support improvements. Job
Requirements
:
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business preferred.
- Proven experience in sales; experience in medical device, medtech, or life sciences sales preferred.
- Highly proactive and self-directed, with a strong ownership mindset.
- Strong organizational discipline with effective pipeline and opportunity management.
- Market-driven curiosity with the ability to identify emerging opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in new business development and closing sales opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and customer relationships using CRM tools.
- Comfortable working in an onsite role with regular travel. Desirable

- Experience selling technical or scientific products to research, pharmaceutical, or academic customers.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a customer-facing environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable operating in a growth-oriented company.

Compensation
: Includes a base salary of $65,000 plus uncapped commission. Commission structure rewards new account acquisition and direct sales.
