Job Description - Account Manager The Role: An Account Manager (AM) engages with assigned clients, executing solutions in partnership with internal teams and vendors. The AM is the day-to-day connection point for assigned clients - listening to the client and providing consistent work direction throughout the company to ensure we are delivering solutions which create evident, additional value for our clients and for us. The AM is the creator of internal transparency between teams, keeping the sold solutions at the forefront of the internal teams' work effort. The AM delivers compounding value by continuously delivering creative solutions, creating loyal clients who could not imagine working with anyone else. * Be the day-to-day point of communication between the company and assigned clients * Raise awareness to issues standing in the way of project success with internal team until resolved * Plan, organize, document, manage the execution of projects and expectations (internally and externally) for projects using the tools provided * Identify growth opportunities within clients and discuss those with team leaders Accountabilities: *If the assigned team has no AC, those accountabilities are additive to this role Proactively manage & develop relationship with assigned clients * Manage typical projects and client issues, elevate as necessary * Maintain and develop ongoing relationships at a project level * Know the client, listen, and share their needs, expectations, and requests with the account team * Initiate client conversations for projects/events to: * Validate forecasted projects, maintain accuracy of revenue and project dates * Obtain customer decisions, feedback, and approvals in support of project timelines * Communicate progress, keep informed of changes, notify of past due items from the client * Recognize potential project variances, communicate and document as necessar * Manage service responsibilities for identified events and projects * Prepare estimates, invoices, and change orders for team leaders' review Manage all internal/external communications and meetings for assigned projects * Open jobs, keep dates and information in the system up to date * Attend, create, participate or lead as directed, all necessary project meetings to ensure timely/accurate communications and project success * Respond to project constraints and opportunities, adjust meeting content, attendees, and project options as directed * Invoice within margin expectation, in a timely manner, review with team lead Provide creative service solutions for assigned clients, projects, or events * Work with internal teams and clients to provide necessary assistance to meet the client's needs * Ensure accuracy of show details (floor plans, layouts, budgets, invoices, etc.) * Review estimates, work with team leaders to value engineer until client goals and internal margin expectations are met * Communicate value engineering options, value-added services, and change orders throughout the project Positively contribute to NPARALLEL 's business performance, culture, and values * Make decisions in the best interest of both clients and our organization * Embrace change, offer suggestions for improvement * Contribute positively to the Company, Team, Client, and Projects Measurements of success: * Achievement of financial goals for assigned book of business * Increasing volume of projects and revenues, expanding range of services provided to clients * Deliver projects within client budget expectations while monitoring and maintaining targeted margins * Fully satisfied clients (internal and external) * Accurate, timely completion of estimates, invoice requests, and timesheets * Actively contribute to and support the attainment of team goals and company initiatives Education and experience: * All candidates: 3+ years demonstrated success in a deadline driven customer facing business model requiring strong project management skills * Experience in tradeshow, event or agency environment strongly preferred * Proven ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally while meeting deadlines * Software and computer literate * Ability to travel and willingness to work the hours necessary during peak periods to ensure client needs are met * Formal education is appreciated, but not required if attributes are met Attributes: * Creative problem solver with a customer focus and solutions orientation * Strong communication skills (listening, writing, speaking) * Recognizes problems, knows when to elevate * Desire and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, results oriented environment * Adept with multi-tasking and changing priorities * Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills * Desire and ability to operate according to our team's Core values: Respect, Integrity, Courage, Balance, Growth, Honesty, Exhibiting Good About us: NPARALLEL + Atomic Props is an experiential marketing agency that transforms brand interactions into moments of connection through award-winning trade show exhibits, immersive brand activations, and innovative 3D OOH advertising installations.
