Director of Sales & Marketing Summit Travel & Tours Round Rock, TX (preferred) | Travel Required Summit Travel & Tours is hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales efforts during an exciting period of growth. The right candidate is comfortable with KPIs, enjoys leading a sales/marketing team, and is excited to be hands-on in an ever-changing company where everyone wears multiple hats. You and your team will drive the full sales cycle for student group travel, from inbound leads and outreach through proposals, and approvals. You'll also strengthen sales processes, coach the team as needed, and partner with operations and invoicing to keep handoffs smooth and details accurate. This role reports directly to the President/Owner and provides regular updates on pipeline health, monthly sales performance, and key initiatives. Responsibilities * Lead and support the sales team through regular meetings, coaching, and goal setting * Work directly with clients to build, price, revise, and deliver trip proposals and itineraries * Own end-to-end sales pipeline management for assigned schools and groups, including lead status, outreach cadence, and next follow-ups. * Track, analyze, and report sales KPIs and monthly sales performance to the President/Owner, and participate in weekly leadership rhythms to surface risks and decisions needed. * Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns aligned with sales initiatives, and sales-support materials. * Serve as a leader within an established, tight-knit team with humility and professionalism * Represent Summit Travel & Tours within the travel community * Plan and execute key conferences and trade shows, including outreach plans, materials, on-site execution, and follow-up. * Travel frequently as part of the role Qualifications * Proven experience in sales, with leadership or management experience preferred * Strong comfort with KPIs, metrics, and goal-driven performance * Growth-oriented mindset with a desire to develop personally and professionally * Team-first attitude with the ability to lead collaboratively * Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving organization where roles may shift * Strong understanding of technology and internal tools, including Notion (or similar platforms) * Mastery of Google Suites within a business setting * Passion for travel and willingness to travel often Preferred Qualifications While not essential, candidates who possess the following will be viewed favorably: * Experience in student travel and/or dance team travel * Located in Austin, Texas or willing to relocate * Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience Why Work at Summit Travel & Tours? * Supportive, energetic, and fun team culture * Opportunity to make a real impact during a key growth phase * Leadership role with direct access to company ownership * Travel-focused industry with meaningful client relationships Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan Work Location: Hybrid remote in Round Rock, TX 78664
