Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across designated territories. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through strategic management of sales operations, fostering client relationships, and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in B2B sales, business development, and management, with a proven track record in product sales. Reporting directly to the President, this salesperson will sell equipment to biomedical and research facilities in the Washington DC metro area. This role has an annual base salary with performance-based commissions. Duties * Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet regional targets, focusing on outside sales , territory management , and lead generation. * Manage and grow existing client accounts through effective account management and customer outreach initiatives. Complete sales calls to understand customer operations and equipment requirements. * Identify new business opportunities via cold calling , networking, and market analysis to expand the customer base. * Conduct engaging product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing product features and benefits. * Prepare detailed sales proposals, negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets. * Manage a robust sales pipeline and tracks all customer interactions through the company's CRM software. * Prepares weekly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights for senior management. * Works with marketing team to develop and promote product specials and service expertise -- and executes effective email communications on a regular basis. * Stays current on new biomedical equipment models, specifications, and technological advancements. * Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the territory. Qualifications * Proven experience in B2B sales , heavy equipment or medical sales , or related fields with a focus on territory management and lead generation. * Experience prospecting new customers and reporting through CRM platform * Excellent skills in negotiation , customer service , and building long-term client relationships. * Proficiency with CRM software is essential. * Demonstrated ability in conducting effective product demos , upselling, and closing deals through persuasive communication skills. * Demonstrated customer experience with the ability to problem-solve and devise solutions for the customer. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts across diverse territories efficiently. * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
