Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and sales acumen to effectively communicate with clients and ensure their needs are met. Looking for an individual with a manufacturing background in a sales role. Responsibilities * Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates. * Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating. * Develop detailed proposals that outline project scope, timelines, and costs. * Maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service. * Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing. * Review and revise estimates based on client feedback or changes in project scope. * Assist in the preparation of bids for new projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is included. * Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or questions. Requirements * Proven experience in estimating or a related field is preferred. * Strong sales skills with the ability to engage clients effectively. * Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. * Proficiency in using estimating software and tools. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
