Position Summary The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through private events, group bookings, partnerships, and strategic marketing initiatives across both Spare Birdie and Goodfolks. This role blends outbound sales, relationship building, event coordination, and brand-forward marketing execution. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities *Sales & Revenue Generation * Proactively sell private events, corporate buyouts, social gatherings, fundraisers, and group bookings * Manage inbound leads from website, email, social media, and phone inquiries * Conduct site tours and consultations with prospective clients * Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community partners * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals * Assist with pricing strategies, packages, and promotions in collaboration with leadership * Coordinate and book live music and entertainment for restaurant hosted events in alignment with brand standards, budget, and programming goals Event Management * Coordinate private events from contract to execution, ensuring a seamless guest experience * Act as the primary point of contact for event hosts pre-event * Work closely with operations and on-site managers to communicate event details * Attend and support select on-site events as needed *Marketing & Brand Support * Execute local marketing initiatives, promotions, and event-driven campaigns * Assist with social media content planning, posting, and engagement in coordination with leadership or agencies * Support email marketing, giveaways, partnerships, and brand collaborations * Maintain up-to-date marketing materials, event decks, and sales collateral * Track campaign performance and provide insights on what's driving traffic and bookings * Partner with leadership and operations teams to plan, promote, and execute restaurant hosted events, ensuring alignment between marketing, staffing, and guest experience Community Engagement * Represent Spare Birdie and Goodfolks at networking events, chambers, school functions, and local activations * Develop partnerships that drive repeat business and brand visibility * Help position both brands as top destinations for celebrations and group experiences *Reporting & Admin * Maintain accurate sales pipelines, event calendars, and CRM records * Provide monthly and quarterly sales and marketing performance reports * Assist with forecasting and identifying growth opportunities Qualifications * 2-5 years of sales, marketing or event management experience (Hospitality preferred) * Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills * Experience selling events, group dining, or entertainment venues is a plus * Comfortable with Tripleseat, Toast, OpenTable, and Social Media platforms * Ability to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and/or holidays for events * Self-starter with a creative, energetic, and professional demeanor What We 're Looking For * Someone who can sell the experience, not just the space * A relationship-builder who thrives on community connection * A creative thinker who understands brand voice and guest appeal * A team player who collaborates seamlessly with operations and leadership Why Join Us? * Work with two growing, fun-forward hospitality brands * Competitive salary + Performance-based commission * Opportunities for growth and advancement * A dynamic environment where ideas are welcomed and creativity is encouraged Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cedar Park, TX 78613
