Full description of the position
Job Title: Sales Manager Department: Sales Reports To: General Manager SUMMARY: Understanding automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; taking drives. Leading sales team to bring sales up. Supervise contract deals and oversee contract folders. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead sales team, supervise receptionist on daily tasks, and oversee contract folders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Compliance: * Oversee sales team in daily tasks (postings, contracts, sales, down payments, trade ins, closing sales). * Do Inventory weekly and check vehicle inspections are up to date. * Keep lot neat and clean with cars aligned. * Meet required weekly and monthly sales goals. * Use DealerSocket + CRM System to oversee employees' performance. * Oversee documentation collected at time of sale. * Oversee process that pertains to organizing vehicles that go to the shop. * Enforce accountability in relation to company/department policies/procedures. * Supervise receptionist and oversee daily tasks (payments, license plates, titles, insurance, scanning contracts). * Cash Management. QUALIFICATIONS: * Adhere to and promote professional culture * Effectively communicate within all levels of the organization * Attention to detail * Organized * Analytical ability * Adaptable, has excellent time management and multi tasking abilities * Driven for success, adheres to deadlines * Professional attitude, understands and demonstrates confidentiality * Dealer Socket knowledge a plus * Spanish Bilingual (REQUIRED) * Ability to navigate technology in a work sense * Ability to close sales sucessfully. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalency * 5+ years sales experience LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of the structure and content of both English and Spanish language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Effectively communicate with management, employees and vendors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Knowledge of related business math (APR, Vehicle payments). REASONING ABILITY: Ability to effectively and efficiently analyze problems, define solutions, build and execute appropriate resolution strategies.
