Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically savvy Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in onboarding new customers, ensuring smooth integration across systems, and drive account growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dairy/Dairy alternative, food production, excellent communication skills, and a understanding of how customers make buying decisions. You'll act as the bridge between our production, logistics, and quality teams AND the customers. Duties * Customer Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new customers including system setup, technical data entry, and internal coordination across departments. * Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with internal teams including Product Development, Quality, Operations, and Logistics to ensure all requirements are met. * Sales Support & Opportunity Development: Understand customer buying behavior and decision-making processes. Identify opportunities to increase sales through insights gathered from customer shelves, assortment gaps, and internal manufacturing capabilities. * Shelf & Market Analysis: Analyze customer retail shelves to identify whitespace opportunities and recommend new product ideas that align with our production capabilities. * Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Be responsive, proactive, and professional in all communications. * Replenishment Coordination: Work closely with customer replenishment teams and internal logistics to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring consistent product availability and satisfaction. Skills * Background in food production, co-manufacturing, or CPG is required. * Strong knowledge of food production processes, including manufacturing, QA/QC documentation, and product development lifecycle. * Technically proficient; comfortable working with customer platforms, ERPs, and data management systems. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills--must be responsive, clear, and effective in managing relationships. * Demonstrated ability to think commercially and identify opportunities from shelf or market observations. * Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a collaborative approach. * Able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. * Problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit. * Demonstrated negotiation skills with a proven ability to create win-win outcomes.
