Express Employment Professionals of Edina is growing quickly and seeking an ambitious candidate to join our team as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for identifying companies that are actively hiring and communicating the benefits of partnering with (the best) staffing agency in Edina to fill those open jobs. This is done by qualifying potential business opportunities and contacting key decision makers through a combination of social selling tools, phone, video, and in person to person sales calls. Successful people in this role are comfortable engaging with business people at all levels and selling critical business services. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning, and listening techniques, etc.), digital marketing platforms, and the discipline to be persistent while following a daily and weekly plan and demonstrating the desire and drive to become a top performing sales professional. Business Development Manager's duties include: * Identify companies that have staffing/hiring needs * Complete 120 sales calls weekly via phone and email to connect with a wide variety of companies * Meet with decision makers virtually to assess hiring needs and offer solutions to close new business * Consult with businesses on value of partnership with Express * Document all sales activity daily * Act as the brand ambassador of Express Employment Professionals throughout Hennepin County Collaboration with inside team includes: * Communicate with recruiters to ensure sales and recruiting are in sync * Motivate recruiters to fill new job orders with urgency * Demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement about new agreements that you close * Provide updates on sales activity and set expectations for internal team to assist in closing new clients You are qualified for the Business Development Manager position if you have the following: * Excellent communication and relationship building skills * Confidence initiating conversation * Natural curiosity * Tech Savvy * Great listener and ability to ask relevant follow up questions * Ability to think and problem solve on your feet * Humble, hungry and motivated * Upbeat attitude * Desire to work in a mission-based company that adds value to local businesses * Passion for helping others * Self-initiative to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision Compensation and Benefits At Express Employment Professionals we offer a highly competitive income potential.
