Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Flooring Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to promote high-end flooring solutions, providing expert guidance on renovation and remodeling projects, and managing account relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in construction or interior design, and experience in outside sales. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases. Duties * Develop new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including client outreach and networking within the construction and renovation industries * Assist clients with selecting appropriate flooring materials, lighting solutions, and interior design elements for high-end projects * Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales effectively while upselling additional products or services * Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationships * Collaborate with project managers and contractors during remodeling or renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of flooring solutions * Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details using POS systems and account management tools * Support marketing initiatives by participating in product demos, merchandising efforts, and promotional events Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales within the construction, renovation, or interior design sectors; high-end sales experience is preferred * Knowledge of remodeling processes, maintenance considerations, and general construction practices * Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively * Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--in English; additional languages are a plus * Organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, scheduling appointments, and coordinating project details * Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, merchandising strategies, and product demos * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a team-oriented approach This position offers a base salary plus commission on work sold/managed.
