Salesperson (Inside Sales). Company: South Star Granite. Location: Charleston, SC (In-Showroom). Position Overview. South Star Granite is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson (Inside Sales) to join our showroom team. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys working directly with homeowners, builders, and designers to guide them through the countertop selection and purchasing process while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities: * Greet and assist showroom visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. * Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate stone surfaces and products. * Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes and estimates. * Manage leads, customer information, and sales activities using our CRM system. * Follow up with prospects to drive projects from initial inquiry to completed sale. * Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure accurate orders and smooth project execution. * Maintain strong knowledge of products, materials, pricing, and internal processes. * Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales (inside sales preferred). * Experience using CRM systems (required). * Strong communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills. * Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury showroom environment. * Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects. * Ability and willingness to learn stone materials, fabrication processes, and product specifications. * Experience in home improvement, construction, or interior design is a plus.
