Job Title: Outside Sales Representative Location: Plymouth, MN Employment Type: Full-Time Work Type: Field-based | Minnesota / Twin Cities territory (territory-based) About the Job Our client is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to support growth across the Minnesota / Twin Cities territory. This is a full-time, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys being in front of customers, building trust, and delivering real solutions that improve performance. This is not high-volume, transactional sales. It's relationship-driven selling built on consistency, problem-solving, and follow-through. The Mission Build and grow your territory as if it were your own business-one honest conversation at a time. Success comes from listening, understanding customer challenges, and becoming the go-to resource when it matters most. Key Responsibilities * Spend time in the field meeting customers at their facilities * Build strong relationships with operators, managers, and business owners * Prospect new accounts while growing and maintaining existing relationships * Identify customer bottlenecks and recommend effective solutions * Coordinate quotes, orders, and follow-ups with internal teams * Track activity, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM Qualifications Required * Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory * Strong communication skills with reliable follow-through Preferred (Not Required) * Experience in industrial distribution, machining, MRO, manufacturing, or metalworking * Familiarity with cutting tools, blades, abrasives, PPE, or shop consumables * CRM experience What We Offer * Competitive base salary plus commission (details shared during the hiring process) * Ongoing training and support * Fast-moving, accountable team culture * Clear opportunities for professional and financial growth
