Full description of the position

The Inside Sales Specialist will provide sales and service support for Bratney's sales equipment division and various related services. This is a sales support position; providing assistance to Sales Managers, sales and service teams, and customers who operate processing facilities primarily in the grain, feed, seed, nut, food, and specialty commodity industries. Responsible for preparing quotations, maintaining pricing, & ensuring clear and organized communication throughout the sales process. Primary Responsibilities: * May assist with preparation of customer quotations and ensure all details are accurate. * Enter and track orders for both proprietary & 3rd party equipment. * Prepare, review, & verify accuracy of order confirmation documents; ensure customer acknowledges accuracy. * Maintain pricing information for proprietary equipment and solicit quotes for 3rd-party equipment as necessary. * Organize & facilitate regular meetings during sales fulfillment process. * Create & maintain project status & final margin reports for packaging division. * Organize & maintain all pertinent project information within the company servers. * Demonstrate knowledge of products to help ensure accuracy of information that is communicated. * Field customer requests when necessary; provide assistance with issues where possible and/or bring in Sales or Service Managers where appropriate to ensure an industry-leading customer experience. * Maintain & manage information in HubSpot CRM system. * Organize & help produce training resources to enhance Sales Managers' knowledge of products. * Receive and code invoices within company financial software. * Be flexible when necessary; willing to assist Operations, Billing, Service, Logistics, and Administrative teams when needs arise. * Maintain a focus on quality customer service to preserve and strengthen customer relationships. * May answer main Bratney phone line and direct calls to appropriate parties. * May code timecards, assist with inventory, make travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks. Education/Experience: Skilled in the use of basic computer software and web/mobile applications to accomplish daily tasks. College degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred but not required. Experience in the seed, grain, or food industry, or other agriculture- related experience is preferred but not required. Other Requirements: Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening as well as random pool testing. Background screening including previous employment, education, and criminal history. Physical Requirements: Occasionally required to climb up/down ladders. Occasionally required to lift items up to 45 lbs. Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
