Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring the sales floor is well- maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse clientele. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers * Upsell products by recommending additional items that meet customer needs * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking * Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom areas * Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Assist in supervising team members when necessary, ensuring smooth store operations * Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone Requirements * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in retail or specialty stores * Strong communication skills; * Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math calculations * Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette * Ability to upsell products effectively to increase sales opportunities * Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership potential is valued * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers This position provides an opportunity to grow within the retail industry while delivering exceptional shopping experiences to our valued customers.
