Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a dynamic retail environment, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for all customers. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse clientele. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves * Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift * Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls * Supervise or assist in supervising other team members as needed Experience * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments * Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills * Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and customer service roles * Supervising experience is a plus but not required * Ability to perform product demos effectively and confidently * Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques will be advantageous This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about retail sales and customer service to grow their skills within a supportive team environment.
