Full description of the position

SCOPE: The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving revenue growth for JK Moving Services by focusing 60% of their time on generating new business opportunities and 40% on managing and maintaining existing client relationships. The BDR will identify, qualify, and nurture prospects while also providing account management support to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth. This dual-focus role supports both the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of services with current clients, directly contributing to the success of the Business Development team. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. * 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (moving, logistics, or related industry a plus). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships. * Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. * Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. * Familiarity with CRM platforms, pipeline management, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development (60%) * Research, identify, and engage with potential clients through outbound calls, emails, networking, and events. * Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed team revenue goals. * Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials. * Accurately maintain prospect and lead information in the CRM system. * Represent JK Moving Services at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions. * Track personal metrics (outreach, conversion, and booked appointments) to align with company goals. * Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on strategies for target markets and outreach. * Account Management (40%) * Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely responses and high-quality service. * Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. * Coordinate with internal departments (operations, customer service, sales) to address client needs. * Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand services within existing accounts. * Assist in preparing and delivering client performance reviews and reports. * Monitor client satisfaction and escalate issues when necessary to ensure retention and service quality. * Support renewal and contract discussions under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
