Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Art Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in art and sales to provide exceptional service to our clients, helping them discover and acquire artwork that meets their needs and enhances their spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, account management, and business development, with a keen eye for art and design. Sell a product that everyone WANTS and LOVES! Ocean Blue Galleries is seeking an energetic, professional, goal oriented, motivated salesperson to work in Downtown St. Pete's most SUCCESSFUL Fine Art Gallery. We represent over 20 of the world's top collected artists and provide a very generous pay plan to match our dynamic artists! You will be working in an environment full of tasteful, beautiful, fine art and will have opportunities to work with famous world-renowned artists, as well as meet art collectors and future art collectors to whom you will introduce the world of fine art collecting. Duties * Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective account management and customer service. * Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and expand the client base. * Utilize territory management skills to identify potential markets and opportunities for growth. * Provide product demonstrations and upselling techniques to showcase artwork effectively. * Engage in direct sales efforts, including follow up. * Negotiate terms of sale with clients while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. * Stay updated on industry trends. Experience * Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service. * Ability to conduct product demos that resonate with clients' needs and preferences. * Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
