Account Executive Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join a fast-growing technology company serving the energy industry. Position Summary The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic sales mindset, deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to effectively communicate value to clients in the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets. * Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, referrals, research, and outbound outreach. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. * Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and tailor product solutions accordingly. * Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations. * Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals. * Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. * Track and manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity in the CRM system. * Provide regular forecasts, reports, and updates to leadership. * Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market developments. * Attend trade shows and industry events as needed. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2+ years of SaaS sales experience. * 1+ year of experience in the oil and gas industry (required). * Proven record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales goals. * Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented. * Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
