Position Overview EVEN Hotel & Tinley Park Convention Center is seeking a dynamic, talented, client-centric Business Travel/Hotel Sales Manager that has a proven track record of success in soliciting and booking both transient and group business. The candidate must implement new and successful strategies to achieve hotel profitability through sales revenue generation as well as solidify and preserve positive client relationships for future repeat bookings. * Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts to maximize room revenue and meet/exceed goals * Implement successful strategies to achieve hotel profitability through revenue generation * Develop a sales strategy by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel market trends and create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet & exceed goals * Regularly review and stay atop with assigned market segments * Develop and enhance relationships with key businesses and individual contacts to maintain and increase market share * Maintain acurate, legible records and files to provide group history to ensure future and current quality service and enhance future proposals * Perform other duties, projects & reports as assigned Required Skills: *Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers alike *Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines *Strong organizational/analytical & problem solving skills with attention to detail & the ability to multi-task & make decisions in a moments notice *Ability to work independently or in a team environment *Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Hotel Sales: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Tinley Park, IL 60477 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tinley Park, IL 60477
