Summary: Harris Golf Cars is looking for a strong leader with a proven record of increasing sales and building customers relationships to join our team in Des Moines! Role and Responsibilities * Responsible for all retail sales * Complete all required documentation for sales and customer inquiries * Monitor the financial performance of the location and seek ways to improve profitability * Deliver high quality customer services through inperson, phone, and electronic communications * Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to enhance their customer satisfaction and loyalty * Ensure that all processes are followed consistently on a daytoday basis; this will include managing staff, directing activities, and maintaining an efficient flow across all departments and locations. * Oversee employee performance, provide coaching, training, and feedback to foster a productive and positive work environment * Manage and resolve customer issues with products or services * Serve as location contact for all Harris intralocation sales, service, transfers, and rentals * Collaborate with parts and service departments to ensure consistent and efficient scheduling of units, parts, and services for customers * Ensure fleet and company vehicles are maintained in accordance with DOT regulations and requirements * Manage shortterm rentals including contractual agreements, billing, and deliveries * Actively manage and promote Harris products and services by actively designing showroom displays and providing input and support for online presence using Harris website and social networking sites * Participate in developing operational goals and expectations * Engage in continuous learning of the Yamaha brand and its competition * Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and company success Qualifications and Education Requirements * High school diploma or GED * Minimum of 3 years of proven sales and management experience in a competitive market * Driver's license with a suitable driving history * Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and problemsolving skills * Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) * Proficient with computers and technology, and able to quickly learn, navigate, and utilize new software programs * Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner, both orally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills * Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks and deliverables Physical demands: * While performing the job duties, the employee will be frequently required to use their hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 85lbs. Expected hours: * 7am 5pm, Monday through Friday, start times may vary, Saturdays may be required on a seasonal basis Pay: * Starting at $65,000, plus commissions, $1,000 sign on bonus (less taxes) Benefits: * Medical, dental, vision, $15,000 company paid life insurance policy, short and longterm disability insurance, critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity, employee assistance program (EAP), paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
