Places - Melbourne, Cocoa, Merritt island , Titusville , Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and assist customers with product information and recommendations. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, gain retail experience, and contribute to a positive shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and prior retail or grocery store experience are a plus. Duties * Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience * Assist customers with product demos, questions, and recommendations to enhance sales opportunities * Upsell products and promote promotions to maximize sales performance * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented * Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures * Manage inventory levels by assisting with stock replenishment and inventory counts * Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and inviting for customers * Demonstrate strong communication skills and phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred * Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously * Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs * Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team * Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques to increase sales * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately * Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with attention to detail and professionalism send resume [please apply online] Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
