Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Experience with POS systems, merchandising, and cashiering is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs * Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts * Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and clean throughout the store * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy * Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed * Maintain proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Requirements * Previous retail sales experience preferred; experience in grocery stores or similar environments is a plus * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math skills * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs * Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor * Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts * Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos is advantageous * Professional phone etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills are essential This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic retail environment while providing outstanding service to our valued customers.
