Job Overview Our Insurance Agency is seeking a driven and customer-focused Part-Time Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Ventura, CA. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is ready to build a career in the insurance industry. Compensation & Benefits: $20/hour base pay plus competitive commissions. Salary Range: $25,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission Paid Time Off (PTO) Career Growth Opportunities Requirements Possess a valid Property & Casualty or/and Life insurance license, or be willing to obtain one soon. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Spanish is a plus Willing to have a background check. Proficiency with computers and experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus. Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A positive, people-oriented, and resilient attitude. Local to Ventura for an easy commute to our office. Great attendance and work ethic. Sales or customer service experience is preferred. Responsibilities Develop new business through lead generation, referrals, and cross-selling to existing clients. Provide exceptional, friendly customer service and build lasting client relationships. Contact prospective clients to discuss their insurance needs and market appropriate policies. Explain and present policy features and terms clearly to clients. Maintain client records and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle inquiries regarding policy changes, claims, and billing.
