We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Truck or Trailer Sales Professional to join our team in Altoona, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for a highly qualified Truck or Trailer Sales Professional, who based upon relationships built, can bring a book of business with them, as well as step into a territory with existing accounts. There is also great potential for new accounts. Responsibilities include: * Build strong relationships with current accounts and serve as a single point of contact * Develop relationships and secure accounts from dormant accounts and non-customers * Build relationships and collaborate with equipment/rental sales representatives for cross selling * Maximize revenue in assigned territory * Proactively monitor market conditions, new products, and competitors * Utilize CRM and other tools * Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications include: * Very specific experience in the Transportation industry such as a Truck or Trailer Sales Rep, Truck or Heavy Equipment Sales Rep. Two years of this specific experience is required while three years is preferred. * Bachelor's degree preferred * Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills * Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Basic knowledge of Microsoft products * Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed * Valid driver's license and a good driving record A company vehicle is provided.
