This position is responsible for providing sales support for the region, including account management; prospecting, qualifying leads, and providing world-class customer service. Compensation for this position includes base pay and monthly commission. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Regional Sales Partnership * Strategically work with Regional Sales Manager partner to build and strengthen relationships and customer base in territory * Relay relevant information to Regional Sales Manager * Prepare and assemble special projects such as marketing plan packets * Pull database reports that pertain to specific needs * Provide general customer base knowledge, which can be used to help guide Regional Sales Manager in customer targets and travel schedule * Work with Regional Sales Manager partner to resolve escalated issues Inbound/Internal Customer Support * Respond to calls that range from many topics encompassing order questions to full project requests * Follow-up/return calls * Provide targeted customer service to our high dollar, high potential retailers and distributors * Order entry, upselling Outbound Call Campaign * Contact customers by telephone to secure product orders based on established priority * Evaluate and understand customers' needs and promote the aspect of "up-selling" to grow the business for both the customer and Aquascape * Communicate to the customers about any product promotions, relevant training events, product availability and marketing resources * Actively create a positive customer relationship and support the customers' efforts to sell Aquascape products Trade Shows * Periodic travel to attend tradeshows and regional events (approximately 2-3 weeks of domestic travel annually) Social Media * Respond to customer questions and comments on social media platforms * Interact (like, comment, share) with company social media platforms OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Participate in company events, as need * Complete other projects and duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent customer service skills with a minimum of 6 months of experience in an inside sales position * Proven track record of upselling and qualifying leads in an inside sales position or similar environment * Ability to work in a team environment, yet having the ability to make independent decisions * Ability to handle multiple tasks at once * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; and CRM software PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS * Sales training - up-selling, qualifying leads * Sales experience in a similar industry Compensation & Benefits * Starting salary: $53,000 - $58,000 + commission * Full-time, salaried, exempt position * Benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the position Job Type: Full-time Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): * Are you able to travel domestically for approximately 2-3 weeks per year?
