The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail skills, engage with customers, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Previous experience in grocery stores or retail sales is a plus, along with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions or special offers * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability * Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries * Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Qualifications * These qualifications are not required and can be learned through training * Prior experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or customer service (not required, but is a plus) * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math skills * Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs * Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette * Ability to perform upselling and product demonstrations effectively * Experience in merchandising, stocking, and inventory management is desirable * Supervising experience is beneficial but not required * Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork, communication, and a customer-focused approach are valued.
