Full description of the position

Fabric8Labs is developing the first electrochemical additive manufacturing (ECAM) platform that combines advanced display hardware with electroplating technology and uses the power of software to drive high-resolution, high- quality metal deposition. Fabric8Labs' proprietary technology creates fine- featured metal components--particularly complex thermal structures--that are not possible with conventional manufacturing or other additive manufacturing (AM) techniques. As Director of Strategic Accounts , you will spearhead the company's efforts to establish strategic partnerships with major semiconductor companies and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Fabric8Labs' technology is uniquely positioned to solve critical thermal bottlenecks in AI hardware , so you will be interacting heavily with thermal architects, hardware engineers, and commercial partners to commercialize ECAM-enabled liquid cooling and thermal management solutions. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you'll often have to wear multiple hats: communicating business strategy that addresses data center efficiency and compute scaling trends one moment, while diving into tactical customer engineering requirements the next. This position requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. We're changing the advanced manufacturing industry, and we want leaders who are ready to lead the commercialization of ECAM into next-generation high-performance computing applications. In this role you will: * Lead Strategic Engagements: Spearhead relationships with major semiconductor companies and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), bridging the gap between technical engineering teams and commercial decision-makers to solve critical thermal bottlenecks in AI hardware. * Drive Technical Business Strategy: Assess high-performance compute trends against Fabric8Labs' capabilities to develop comprehensive business plans that identify high-value opportunities in liquid cooling and advanced thermal management. You can demonstrate: * A Proven Track Record: Success in developing and launching new programs with industry leaders in the semiconductor, hyperscale data center, or electronics cooling markets. * Technical & Commercial Fluency: The ability to speak the language of thermal engineers while effectively managing commercial relationships with procurement and business leadership. * An Extensive Network: Industry contacts--including thermal architects, hardware engineers, and commodity managers--within the AI data center cooling and thermal management hardware ecosystems. * Collaborative Leadership: An ability to foster an environment of collaboration and innovation, maintaining a relentless focus on customer success in a fast-paced, deep-tech environment. Primary Responsibilities: * Develop and execute Fabric8Labs' business development strategy specifically for the AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) markets. * Lead voice-of-customer collection for next-generation cooling solutions, defining product and application requirements based on the roadmaps of major chipmakers and CSPs. * Manage the business development cycle for complex, custom-engineered solutions, from initial technical qualification to commercial contract negotiation. Minimum Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor, data center infrastructure, or thermal management industries. * Demonstrated success in either a technical role (Application Engineering, Product Management) with commercial exposure, OR a commercial role (Business Development, Technical Sales) with a strong technical background. * A track record of introducing disruptive, enabling technologies into the electronics supply chain. * BS in Science or Engineering * MBA is preferred but not required. Desirable Skills and Experience: * Experience with liquid cooling technologies, advanced semiconductor packaging, and the thermal challenges associated with high-TDP AI processors. * Additive manufacturing experience or knowledge of metal manufacturing processes is a strong plus.
