About the Company Our client provides premium aluminum deck and railing solutions tailored for the multi-family industry throughout North America. They partner with general contractors, architects, and property management companies to deliver durable, low-maintenance, and visually stunning exterior products for residential and commercial developments. About the Role The company is seeking a proactive, competitive, and results-driven business development representative to join its sales team. This role is critical in creating pipeline momentum by aggressively identifying, qualifying, and advancing new business opportunities and handing off well-qualified opportunities to the outside sales team. This is a hunter-oriented role, ideal for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, activity-based goals, and winning new opportunities. The business development representative will work closely in a pod model with outside sales leaders to expand the company's presence in the multi-family housing market. Responsibilities * Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through disciplined outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, email campaigns, and targeted online research * Aggressively pursue new conversations with general contractors, architects, and property management contacts to uncover active and upcoming project opportunities * Proactively support the outside sales team by setting qualified meetings, advancing opportunities, and handing off warm, sales-ready leads * Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, lead status, activity, and follow-up actions using CRM tools * Drive consistent follow-up and momentum to move opportunities to the next stage of the sales process * Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver clear, concise product information to support opportunity progression * Support marketing initiatives by converting campaigns and outreach into qualified sales conversations within the multi family sector * Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to strengthen prospecting and qualification conversations Qualifications * 3+ years of inside sales, business development, or sales support experience; building materials, construction, or multi-family development background preferred * Proven comfort with outbound prospecting, high-volume activity, and activity-based performance expectations * Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage decision-makers and influencers * Competitive, self-motivated, and persistent mindset with strong follow-through * Proficient with Salesforce and standard business software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) * Highly organized and able to prioritize outreach, follow-up, and opportunity management effectively Benefits * Competitive base salary + performance bonuses * Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) * Paid holidays and PTO * Supportive team environment and leadership * Opportunity to grow with a company expanding across North Americ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In personGrey Search + Strategy
