Join us at Sidus Space to be part of something extraordinary and help shape the future of space access! * Job Summary The BD & Sales Associate for Defense and Space is responsible for the identification, qualification, and capture of business that leads to revenue growth across defense, commercial, and emerging space markets. Success is determined by the ability to drive near-term bookings while positioning Sidus as a long-term partner of choice across satellite manufacturing, hosted payloads, in-space services, data, and space-enabled infrastructure. * Essential Duties/Responsibilities * Develops and delivers comprehensive business plans to address customer and prospect priorities and pain points. * Develops effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth. * Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Sidus Space's products and services brings that knowledge to bear in the pursuit of every sales opportunity. * Utilizes best practice sales models, understanding Sidus Space's competition and effectively position solutions against them. * Follows a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline and keeps pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve, leveraging support organizations including Marketing, Bid & Proposal, Partners and channels. * Effectively manages account and customer relationships to include use and maintenance of the CRM systems of record. * Deepens relationships with existing customers to expand revenue opportunities with current and future products and services. * Other duties as assigned * Required Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. * 1-3 yrs experience in sales of technology-related products and services. * Demonstrated success with closing transactions and successfully navigating lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market * Required Qualifications * Exhibits strong leadership in Customer engagement using resources within Sidus Space and within Sidus Space's partnerships to solve customer problems with appropriate Sidus Space products and services. * Ability to establish strong relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value (value of counsel and expertise, value of solutions, value of implementation expertise). * Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape. * Proficient in the review and analysis of public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect. * Physical Requirements * Prolonged periods sitting or standing in an office environment * Ability to travel up to 50% * Total Rewards and Perks At Sidus Space, we ask a lot of our team members, which is why we give so much in return.
