This is a sales job. You job is to pull customer orders, online order, phone orders. Help customers find products, stock on down time. Position: Customer Service Associate Schedule: 6 days a week 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturdays are rotating, Sundays off Pay: $13-$18 per hour (based on experience, paid weekly) Position Overview We're seeking a dependable and personable Customer Service Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person role where you'll engage directly with customers each day. Our clientele is made up exclusively of businesses-- not the general public--and most are long-term, repeat customers who shop with us regularly. Customer Interaction Methods * In-Person Assistance: Greet visiting customers, help them locate products, answer questions, and process purchases at checkout. * Order Lists: Receive itemized lists from customers and prepare orders for pickup. * Video Calls: Use company phones to assist customers via live video--showing products, explaining features, and highlighting new arrivals. Professional communication and patience are key, as many customers may be managing other tasks during calls. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs * Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments * Upsell complementary items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction * Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory * Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience * Follow proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Experience * Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key * Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in guiding team members or managing tasks * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions * Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively * Experience in conducting product demos and upselling techniques to boost sales performance * Knowledge of merchandising principles and stock management practices * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
