Design Sales Consultant - Flooring Showroom $85,000 -$120,000+ OTE | Base + Uncapped Commission Hiring in both Location: Austin, TX 78721 and Cedar Park, TX 78613 Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift (No Nights) High-Earning Sales Role | Luxury Flooring & Design Hardwood Bargains is growing fast, and we're hiring a Design Sales Consultant for our Austin showroom. This role is ideal for a confident, organized, people-oriented professional who thrives in consultative sales , not pressure tactics. You'll work with homeowners, designers, and builders , helping them select the right flooring for their space -- backed by premium products, strong systems, and high-quality inbound leads. What You 'll Do * Consult with customers in a showroom setting to guide flooring and design decisions * Build trust and close sales through education, not pressure * Manage inbound leads and follow up consistently * Oversee projects from first visit through completion * Coordinate with warehouse and support teams to deliver 5-star experiences * Stay organized using CRM and internal systems * Conduct sampling sessions and personalized design consultations Who We 're Looking For * Proven sales experience (flooring, design, retail, or home services preferred) * Confident, professional communicator (face-to-face) * Organized and detail-driven * Self-motivated with strong follow-through * Comfortable working toward performance-based income * No flooring experience required -- paid training provided *This is not a passive retail role. Ideal candidates enjoy ownership, accountability, and closing deals.
