Job Title: Account Manager Location: Providence, RI - Onsite Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 base salary depending on experience (plus performance based commission structure) Reports To: General Manager Overview We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join our team in an onsite, in-office role. This individual will be responsible for driving new business, expanding customer relationships, and supporting sales growth efforts within the manufacturing finishing industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a background in liquid spray coating, polishing, plating, or related finishing operations. Key Responsibilities * Serve as an in-house sales representative, working onsite daily to support sales operations. * Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. * Identify customer needs, provide product recommendations, and deliver effective solutions. * Leverage industry knowledge--especially in finishing processes such as liquid spray coating, polishing, or plating--to communicate technical value propositions. * Collaborate closely with the General Manager to align on sales strategies, goals, and customer priorities. * Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications. * Maintain accurate sales documentation and CRM updates. * Support customer service functions as needed. Qualifications * Proven sales experience; manufacturing, paints, or coating industry experience strongly preferred. * Background with liquid spray coating, polishing, plating, or related processes is highly desirable. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong relationship-building abilities and consultative sales approach. * Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fully onsite role. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.
