We need a people-friendly Jack-Of-All-Trades willing to serve in a dual role as 1) Customer Service Rep and 2) Sales Support to the sales department. Our Sarasota-based company is heading into 2026 with strong growth and positive momentum, and we are looking to add a key team member who can support our sales department with administrative and operational needs while also being cross-trained to take orders from our small business customers. As a wholesale food distributor serving family-owned restaurants throughout Florida, we deliver dairy and milk products directly to their kitchens, and this role will be a critical link between our customers and our outside sales team, handling daily orders, customer communication, and the moving parts that keep our sales team running smoothly. What it takes to win here: * Be overly accurate with order entries so a restaurant customer always gets what they order. * Be an over-communicator to ensure the details get taken care of. * Be steadfast so you are the Rock-In-the-Storm during chaotic days. * Be clear and concise so bad phone connections or awkward texts do not get misinterpreted. Due to the critical nature of this dual role, we will be screening applicants for these skills: * Ability to transcribe 100% accurately to a computer screen while reading an order or listening to a verbal order * Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset * Warm, approachable, and people-focused * Computer literacy: Ability to manage multiple programs open on multiple screens * Task management between multiple simultaneous projects Extra consideration given to any of these experiences: * Managed a restaurant or tourist-facing business (and still enjoys people) * Managed a customer service department * Worked in operations for a distribution, logistics, medical claims, insurance claims or manufacturing company * Served as an Executive Assistant or Operations Assistant for an executive * Led departmental projects * Either owned your own business for at least a year or founded a startup * Certificate or formal training in project management * Veteran: any logistics, yeoman, SpecOps support, recruiter, for field medic/corpsman experience While this position is full-time, we will entertain highly qualified tenured applicants able to work onsite at least 20 hours a week. The position is full time, 8 - 5pm, onsite, and amongst a friendly staff who all know each other's names. Big enough to provide a generous benefits package, but small enough you have direct access to the executives and CEO.
