Job Overview We are seeking a Sales Associate with great interpersonal skills who can deliver customer centered services in a professional, friendly manner to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides expert product knowledge, and ensures an exceptional shipping experience. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help drive sales, promote our services & products, and build lasting customer relationships. Ideal Candidate should be: Friendly and outgoing Self Motivated Able to communicate with a diverse customer base Able to lift up to 70 lbs, lift 50 lbs regularly, and stand for extended periods of time Computer Literate - Email, document scanning, printing, etc. Reliable, with a flexible approach to scheduling (which includes some Saturdays) Aware of the importance of great customer service Able to learn and apply systems and procedures quickly Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Able to spell and measure accurately Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products and services that meet their needs * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments * Packing and Shipping (packing items correctly including unique, fragile items) * Retail Selling * Lifting Boxes * Sorting US Mail * Sorting incoming and outgoing UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS packages * Quickly understanding customer needs and provide options and solutions * Digital Fingerprinting of customers requiring background checks at scheduled appointment times. * Cash register opening/closing procedures, and counting and balancing cash drawers * Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Experience * Prior retail sales and shipping experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! * Bilingual skills are a plus * Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency for cash handling, and excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role The people we want to join our team will: Project a professional image with a friendly and energetic personality Be detail oriented, have a desire to learn and the ability to get up to speed quickly.
