Business Development Manager - Commercial Roofing Baltimore, Maryland $140,000-$150,000 + Bonus & Benefits The externals group are working with a Large commercial roofing contractor who run multi-state operations, They are on the look out for an experienced Business Development Manager to take lead in the following: * Job Info:* As a Business Development Manager, You will take lead of not only the sales but also the marketing share side of the business within a specific territory to build strong relationships, covering B2B sales. Your experience should demonstrate a strong track record in successfully selling to other businesses and the ability to build a strong portfolio of accounts using means of event networking, referrals and prospecting. This position would require the ability to work efficiently on a computer as well as being comfortable working at a desk for long periods of time. * General responsibilities include: * Develop a successful sales strategy within your territory to increase market share as well as creating a steady plan for future sales using the tools provided. * Use techniques such as, networking, cold calling & prospecting to acquire new customers while maintaining current client relationships. * Evaluate customer needs to provide as much relevant information so the team can provide accurate proposals. * Work closely with Sales Reps, estimators and other support staff to ensure a smooth process for clients, Providing excellent customer service throughout. * Successfully track performance and create an accurate financial analysis on the completion of the job. Requirements: * Proven track record of in portfolio building & B2B sales * Strong networking, customer communication, organization & time management skills * A minimum of 5 years experience in roofing, construction or industrial sales is required, * Flexibility to travel locally as and when needed. * A powerful drive for sales.
