Full description of the position

The candidate will identify new business opportunities with both prospects and existing customers in order to increase interest and qualify leads for the Sales Team. They will work incoming quote requests to qualify leads and generate quotes. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Techmetals' product offerings, and the ability to close smaller deals while communicating our value and metal finish options. In addition, the candidate will develop and maintain strategic relationships with outside contacts to drive growth consistent with strategic goals. Candidate will have a proven ability to establish quick and strong relationships via phone, identify and close business opportunities as well as a strong aptitude for learning. They will also possess strong leadership and communication skills. Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Identify and solve customer issues and needs on inbound requests. * Utilize advanced level quoting skills to work on complex, high-profile and top priority quotations. * Support ISR's with development of quoting and lead/customer qualifying. * Assist in the problem solving of any issues that arise from internal and external customers. Implementing plans and best practices to improve internal ISR processes and avoid repeat issues. * Build/earn customer relationships through strategic territory planning and account interactions. * Answer phone calls, chats, emails and all other inbound customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner striving to provide a first contact resolution. * Participate in continual training and development (internal processes & software, product and application knowledge, sales process and outcomes, and industry-based training). * Provide an extraordinary experience to all internal and external customers. * Help support managed territories and assist Business Development Managers with customer support. * Perform cold calls to generate new sales, as directed. * Help the team hit monthly revenue goals provided by management. * Communicate to Techmetals' customers how our solutions differentiate from competitors. * Develop an advanced understanding of our plating processes and what is required for every order with the added ability to represent departments. * Share information with team leads, team and other departments, following company policies and values, balancing short- and long-term goals, and resolving customer issues when necessary. * Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities. * Provide pricing and availability to customers when needed. * Maintain minimum call scores and activity levels required of the position. Position Requirements: * Associate degree in business or equivalent. * 3-4 years of experience in marketing, customer support or sales. Experience in a metal finishing-oriented field preferred. * Techmetals or other industry specific certifications preferred. * Must be extremely articulate with strong presentation skills. * Self-Motivated and highly results oriented. * In-depth knowledge and mastery of the Sandler Selling Process is preferred. * Individual must have excellent business acumen and financial skills. * Travel may be required. * Effective use and navigation of Customer Relations Management & Enterprise Resource Planning solutions. * Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications with strong typing skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Employee will be required to meet minimum requirements for number of line items entered and meet accuracy percentage goals. * Employee will be able to successfully delegate daily tasks and support those tasks to completion.
