In this role, you'll take the initiative to generate new leads, visit local businesses, and forge lasting partnerships while promoting our delicious southwestern catering. If you enjoy meeting people, understanding their needs, and turning conversations into orders, this role is perfect for you-- especially if you can handle rejection with ease and a positive spirit! Duties: * Visit local businesses, schools, colleges, doctors' offices, and organizations to introduce Barberitos catering and present our offerings. * Deliver confident and engaging sales pitches that highlight the benefits and convenience of our catering services. * Build strong relationships with office managers, administrators, and event planners to drive repeat and referral business. * Attend local events, vendor fairs, and community gatherings to increase visibility and gather new leads. * Identify customer needs and recommend the best catering solutions based on event size, budget, and goals. * Manage a personal pipeline of leads, follow-ups, and scheduled visits. * Track all interactions, notes, and progress using our catering CRM tools. * Leverage holidays, seasonal events, and local happenings to create targeted sales opportunities. * Work closely with the store team and leadership to plan promotions, coordinate large orders, and support catering execution when needed. Requirements: * Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer outreach, or account management preferred. * Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to individuals and groups. * Comfortable with door-to-door outreach and business-to-business sales. * Persuasive and enthusiastic, able to tailor your pitch to different industries. * Bilingual abilities are a plus and enhance connections with diverse communities. * Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor. * Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and stay organized while out in the field. * A positive attitude and a drive to grow catering revenue and build local partnerships.
