Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and assisting in the daily operations of the store. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in grocery stores or retail environments is a plus, along with bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems for checkout, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays * Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment * Perform cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations * Ensure excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone * Supervise or assist junior staff members when needed * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Skills * Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous * Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively * Bilingual skills are preferred to serve a diverse customer base * Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette * Skilled in upselling and merchandising techniques * Experience with stocking shelves and inventory management in retail or grocery stores * Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash register operations * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences * Knowledge of retail sales processes and cashiering procedures This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your sales skills while providing outstanding service to our customers.
