We are seeking a high-energy OEM Sales Representative with a true hunter mindset to aggressively drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings strong OEM experience in Contract Assembly, Automation, Controls, and Parts & Distribution, excels in navigating long sales cycles, and can rapidly build a high-value pipeline aligned with our ambitious ~55% CAGR growth goals. JOB PURPOSE: The OEM Sales Representative is responsible for winning new OEM business and expanding revenue in target markets, particularly Semiconductor, Packaging and Other Industrial OEMs. This role leads proactive prospecting, influences complex outsourcing decisions, manages pipeline performance in HubSpot, supports quoting strategy, and strengthens brand positioning through strategic engagements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS BY PRIORITY: 1) New Business Acquisition: Prospect, pursue, and close OEM accounts to meet aggressive revenue targets. 2) Complex Sales Execution: Manage 6-8 month sales cycles with multiple decision-makers across Operations and Engineering. 3) Value-Focused Solution Selling: Deliver persuasive presentations that differentiate on quality, speed, and service - not price. 4) Internal Collaboration and Quoting Support: Partner with engineering and leadership on margining, proposals, and marketing input. 5) Pipeline and CRM Discipline: Maintain accurate HubSpot tracking of leads, activity, and performance. 6) Client Engagement and Travel: Conduct phone calls, onsite meetings, and attend trade shows (up to 30% travel). TIME UTILIZATION EXPECTATIONS: * 80% New Business Development (Hunter-Focused and Revenue-Driven) Focused on aggressively pursuing new OEM accounts and driving revenue growth to meet ambitious company targets. Activities include prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and closing deals in strategic markets such as Semiconductor, Packaging and Other Industrial OEMs. Responsibilities also include building a disciplined pipeline, managing complex sales cycles of 6-8 months, and positioning our high-quality, speed-driven solutions to overcome moderate resistance and competitive pressures. 10% Client Engagement (Strategic and Trust-Focused) Dedicated to strengthening relationships with decision-makers in Operations and Engineering through in-person meetings, trade show participation, and solution presentations. Activities include influencing outsourcing decisions, reinforcing value propositions, and ensuring alignment with client needs for long-term success. * 10% Internal Collaboration and Support (Process and Enablement-Focused) Focused on supporting quoting activities, providing input on marketing initiatives, and maintaining accurate HubSpot records. Responsibilities also include adapting to an informal culture with limited sales collateral, ensuring personal discipline in opportunity management, and collaborating with engineering and leadership to deliver creative, value-based proposals. KPIs: 1) Business Development and Growth * Revenue Contribution / Sales Influence (Target: $75K - $100K per month; annual contribution $1M-$3M, Gross Margin ~45%) * New Account Acquisition (Target: 6-12 new OEM accounts annually, each with $250K - $500K annual value) * Pipeline Development (Target: Maintain a pipeline totaling 3x monthly revenue goal) 2) Client Engagement and Relationship Building * Presentation Effectiveness (Target: 80% of presentations advance to the proposal stage) * Trade Show Impact (Target: Generate 10 qualified leads per event attended) 3) Operational Excellence * CRM Accuracy (Target: 100% of opportunities tracked and updated in HubSpot within 48 hours) * Quote Support Turnaround (Target: Margining and proposal input completed within 24-48 hours of request) SUCCESS ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES: * Relentless new business drive and pipeline discipline * OEM industry expertise (Contract Assembly and Parts & Distribution specific) * Strong persuasive communication and group presentation skills * Advanced value-selling capability in competitive markets * Confidence operating in a lean, rapidly scaling environment * Resilient, self-directed, and persistent under pressure MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, or related field (preferred) * 5+ years OEM sales success in high-value account acquisition (required) * Demonstrated value-based selling experience (required) * CRM proficiency; HubSpot preferred (required) * Strong group presentation and communication skills (required) * Ability to thrive with minimal structure and collateral (required) * Travel up to 30% (required) * Must reside in Minnesota (required) COMPENSATION: * Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually * On-Target Earnings (OTE): $110,000 - $150,00 annually * Top Performer Potential: $150,000 - $200,000+ annually (uncapped upside) * Based on experience, proven track record, and ability to deliver measurable results.
