Full description of the position
Sales Representative - Full Time Jefferson County Ciderworks. Iowa's premier and largest hard cider company is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to support and grow our on- and off-premise business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on sales environment and wants to deeply understand craft beverage sales, brand building, and customer relationships. The Sales Representative will work closely with the Sales Manager to manage accounts, develop new business, execute events, and represent the Jefferson County Ciderworks brand in the market. Sales Territory includes Des Moines and surrounding areas: Pella, Ames, Sioux City, Le Mars. Including Omaha. Essential Duties & Responsibilities On-Premise Accounts * Review weekly order data with the Sales Manager to identify growth opportunities, reorder needs, and problem accounts * Maintain weekly contact with on-premise accounts in self-distributed territories * Conduct regular account visits to ensure proper inventory levels, placement, and visibility * Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, managers, and key staff * Schedule, coordinate, and support tastings and on-premise activations in collaboration with the Sales Manager Off-Premise (Draft) Accounts * Communicate weekly with draft accounts to take orders and share upcoming product information * Make new account calls and visits to secure additional draft placements and reorders * Maintain a current and active list of target draft accounts, replacing lost or inactive accounts weekly * Identify, manage, and grow key accounts as designated by the Sales Manager * Support account-specific opportunities such as events, cocktail features, and promotions * Perform draft line cleaning as needed in self-distributed territories * Provide regular feedback and reporting on account status and market activity Events & Promotions * Plan, coordinate, and attend on- and off-premise promotional events as required * Represent the brand at festivals, tastings, and special events * Identify new accounts, brand collaborations, co-branding opportunities, and strategic partnerships General Responsibilities * Complete required administrative reporting accurately and on time * Assist with deliveries and other operational tasks as needed * Adapt to a wide range of responsibilities in a growing, hands-on company * Travel as required, including potential overnight stays Position Details * Reports directly to the Sales Manager * Classification: Exempt * Salary: DOE * Meals & Entertainment stipend for accounts and events * Company vehicle provided Benefits * Company health insurance * PTO and personal days Schedule * 40+ hours per week * Schedule includes evenings and weekends Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company car * Health insurance * Paid time off * Travel reimbursement Work Location: In personJefferson County Ciderworks
