You must be people friendly Your jobs is to sell products to customer and take customer orders Customer walk in, send list or make phone orders You must be able to pull order, help customers find new products Once orders are done you ring order and place in pick/delivery area. During slow time you help stock shelves or help other associates This is a FULL Time job 45- 55 hours a week You must have reliable transportation Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate/Customer Service professional to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and assisting with product sales in a fast-paced grocery or retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be bilingual preferred, and have experience in retail sales and cashiering. This position offers an opportunity to develop your sales and customer service skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store * Operate POS systems efficiently for checkout transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience * Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries * Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations Experience * Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery or similar retail environments * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is essential * Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is a plus * Supervising experience is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated * Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective customer interactions * Prior experience in grocery stores or retail stores will be beneficial for understanding store operations and customer service standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.24 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week Work Location: In person
