Role Overview We are seeking a Business Development Representative (Local Partnerships) to help us build and manage long-term relationships with real estate agents, property managers, builders, and other local professionals who serve homeowners and property owners. This is not a call-center or telemarketing role. This is a relationship-first, field-based position focused on trust, reputation, and long-term partnership -- not pressure, scripts, or hard selling. You will represent Mayflower Roofing in the community, introduce our company to potential partners, nurture those relationships over time, and help generate referral-based opportunities through credibility and consistency. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on availability and fit. What You 'll Do * Build relationships with local real estate agents, property managers, builders, and other professionals who serve homeowners * Introduce partners to Mayflower Roofing, our values, and how we support their clients * Maintain ongoing relationships through check-ins, office visits, events, and thoughtful follow-up * Serve as a trusted resource -- not a salesperson * Track partnerships, conversations, and opportunities using simple internal tools * Coordinate with our internal team to ensure referred clients receive excellent service * Represent Mayflower Roofing professionally and positively in all community interactions Who This Role Is For You might be a great fit if you: * Enjoy building genuine relationships and trust over time * Are comfortable meeting people in person and engaging professionally * Are organized, reliable, and follow through on commitments * Take pride in representing a brand and values you believe in * Prefer a relationship-driven role over a high-pressure sales environment * Are self-motivated and enjoy working independently with support * Care about professionalism, integrity, and doing things the right way Sales or business development experience is helpful but not required. Compensation & Structure * $20/hour base pay (10-40 hours per week, based on availability and performance) * 4% commission on revenue generated from your partnerships * Typical total earnings range $40k-$120k+ annually depending on engagement and results * Uncapped upside for top performers, including opportunities tied to larger commercial partnerships This is either a full-time role or a flexible, part-time role designed to complement other professional or personal commitments.
