Our independent dealership is seeking a dependable and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our growing team. We specialize in quality pre-owned vehicles and take pride in honest work, strong customer service, and a positive shop environment. Responsibilities: * Perform MPI/Used Car Inspections. * Inspect, diagnose, and repair pre-owned vehicles prior to sale * Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs * Identify safety issues and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards * Work efficiently to meet reconditioning timelines * Keep accurate repair notes and maintain a clean workspace * Prepare estimate for recondition for approval * Able to order parts, invoice properly, submit all invoices Requirements: * Proven experience as an auto mechanic (dealership or independent shop) * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Own tools preferred * Valid driver's license What We Offer: * Competitive pay based on experience * Steady, year-round work * No flat-rate pressure typical of large dealerships * Professional, respectful work environment Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
