Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Jewelry Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while exploring our exquisite collection of jewelry. As a Jewelry Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting shopping experience and assisting customers in selecting the perfect pieces to suit their needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers warmly, providing personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge by showcasing jewelry features and benefits through effective product demonstrations.
• Operate the POS system and cash register accurately, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist in managing stock levels, including receiving new inventory, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards for presentation and safety.
• Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and calculations as needed. Skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
• Proven sales skills with a track record of achieving sales goals in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations that highlight the unique qualities of jewelry items.
• Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers for seamless transaction processing.
• Basic math skills for handling pricing inquiries and transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly within the jewelry or luxury goods sector.
• Retail sales experience - Required
• Jewelry Sales - 1+ year preferred

Compensation
